How to easily Get Noom on Apple Watch

To track your steps from your Apple Watch, link Noom to the Apple Health app. Select “Apps & Devices” from your Noom settings menu, then touch “Connect to Health app” to access the app. Select “Health” as your “Steps Data Source” in the app. Next, select “Apps” from the privacy menu in your Health app and give Noom permission to read data. I’m done now!

Noom is just one of the numerous apps that can help lose weight simpler. When I wanted to increase my level of fitness, I downloaded the app onto my iPhone. Although I could use it to count calories, I also chose to use it to measure my fitness. I had to spend some time through the options on both my Apple Watch and iPhone before I figured out how to link my Noom to my Apple Watch.

I’ve put together this guide for you if you’ve been wondering how to get Noom on Apple Watch. This will demonstrate how to use your Apple Watch as a pedometer by connecting the Noom app to it. Let’s get started.

Is there an Apple Watch app for Noom?

Many iPhone fitness apps offer more compact versions that may be downloaded for the Apple Watch. But there isn’t an Apple Watch app for the Noom app, for some reason.

Although to some people this could appear like a deal-breaker, it’s not. By linking your Apple Watch to the Apple Health app, you can get the Noom app to read step data from your Apple Watch. This data can then be used by it for its own Noom data.

The next section will precisely detail how to do this, and it is an equally effective method.

How Do I Connect Noom to the Apple Watch/Health App?

There is a simple procedure you must complete in order to link Noom to your Health app and, consequently, your Apple Watch.

You can learn how to set it up from the parts below. The entire process shouldn’t take longer than five minutes.

However, you need to make sure that you’ve taken care of a few things before you start.

Make sure Noom is installed on your Apple iPhone before anything else. It is available for download from the App Store.

After installation, check to see if it’s not already installed on another device using the same Apple ID. You will need to uninstall it if it is installed on an iPad, for example, as it will influence how Noom counts your steps.

1. Integrate the Health App with Noom

Getting Noom to connect to your iPhone’s Health app is the first step. Through Noom’s “Settings” menu, you can accomplish this.

The steps are as follows:

  1. On the iPhone connected to the watch, launch “Noom.”
  2. To open the menu, tap the menu symbol (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.
  3. Choose “Settings.”
  4. Navigate to the menu. Tap the “Connect to Health app” under the “Apps & Devices” section.
  5. Click “Yes, let’s proceed!” to affirm your decision.

2. Let Noom Read Steps for a Health App.

It’s time to get Noom to read the Health app’s instructions now that it’s connected to the “Health” app on your iPhone.

  1. Click “Choose Steps Data Source” in the “Apps & Devices” section of the Noom settings.
  2. Choose “Health app Steps” if “Noom Pedometer” is activated. To force it to connect, you must first choose “Noom Pedometer” and then “Health app Steps” if “Health app Steps” was previously activated.

3. Enable Noom’s fitness tracking.

Now, just like other fitness applications, you must permit your Noom to collect fitness data. We’ll need to access the “Privacy” option on your Apple iPhone to do this.

  1. Launch the iPhone’s “Settings” application.
  2. Select “Privacy” by swiping down.
  3. Select “Motion & Fitness” from the menu’s bottom section.
  4. If “Fitness Tracking” isn’t already enabled, do so at the top of the menu.
  5. Select “Noom” in the list of apps and turn it on.

4. Permit Data Reading by Noom

You must grant the Health app permission to read data in order to complete the connection between Noom and your Apple Watch.

Thankfully, doing this only a few simple steps:

  1. Start your iPhone’s “Health” application.
  2. Click the icon for your profile in the top-right area.
  3. Scroll down the list and choose “Apps” under “Privacy”.
  4. Press “Noom.”
  5. Below that, there is a section labeled “Allow ‘Noom’ to Read Data.” Turn on each entry under this.
  6. You’ll notice “Allow ‘Noom’ to Write Data” at the top of this option. Make certain that none of these settings are selected.

You’re done with that now! You only need to follow these simple steps to ensure that Noom syncs with your Apple Watch. This fitness software will now be able to track your steps while you move and use them to better manage your weight loss objectives.

Keep in mind that only the Health app’s Steps, Dietary Energy, Active Energy, Blood Glucose, and Weight may be read by Noom.

Final Words

While syncing steps to the app requires many steps, it’s simple to connect Noom to your Apple Watch. Simply connect it to the Health app and select it as the device’s Steps source.

On your iPhone, choose “Noom” from the “Motion & Fitness” menu, and then grant it access to read all of the data in the Health app. Permission to write data back to the app should also be disabled.

We sincerely hope that this tutorial was helpful in calibrating your Noom application to the Health app’s step count and other exercise-tracking data. Learn more about the Apple Watch and your iPhone by reading our connected articles.
